I used it on my 03 ultra without any problem, the belt was really close to the belt guard but it never caused any issues. It allowed me to run the wider 2004 tire on my 03. Had it on there long enough to go through two rear tires. If that is what you are trying to do you can't go wrong.

You '03 was the last year of the FAT belt right? How wide did you go on the rear tire? Did it rub backing up?

Thanks Dave, thats exactly what I am doing. As a matter of fact have already instaled a dunlop e3 mu90-16 on the bike. tire clears the belt rolling forward but hits the tire going backwards. Also had to remove the inner rubber flap so it would't hit. I had heard some where that this spacer caused the belt to where on the outer edge. My bike by the way is a 02se roadking, I assume it's rear swing arm and belt is the same as your 03. Glad to hear you used this spacer and have gone through 2 rear tires without a problem. I guess its a go. Did not have this issue with the metzler 140. Switch to the E3 to see if it will wear longer.

I did not notice it rubbing backing up, i did check the belt periodically for wear on the edges due to the fact that it was so close to the tire but i never observed any wear at all. I was running the Dunlop mu90-16.

Dave, is your belt the fat one or the thin one?

Thanks again Ohio Dave. I've ordered the spacer should receive it on the 17th. I will keep Iron Horse posted on how it works. :2vrolijk_21:
