Bought this for my sister,  2003  anniversary edition  vrod, fuel gauge seems to work backwards after about a gallon of fuel is used the low fuel light comes on and the needle goes down into the red.  Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Needs a tank sender unit. They had a lot of problems with them.
