Colors...
« on: November 14, 2005, 04:06:37 PM »

I have now seen all of the FLSTFSE2 bikes in person, with my own eyes.

My first comment is that the pictures from the MoCo do not do the colors justice.

I like the Yellow/Blue combo the best.

What do you like?
Have you seen it in person?

I particularly like my mist/slate 05 fatboy for a few reasons. I think that the other colors are a bit busy. Also it's important to note that the first Fatboy to roll off the assembly line was in 1990 and it was silver. In 2005 they intorduced an ANN model in silver as well.  I chose the SE over the Ann edition because of the 103 and extra chrome goodies. So the silver has alot of signifigance and is the most underated color of the bunch, but it is my favorite!

I agree Scott,
The only other colour FLSTFSE I have ever seen was I Red one at Gold Coast Bike Week in October (but hundreds of photos of the 3 different 2005 colours) I am still convinced I chose the best colour Mist/Slate, it has lots of style and blends in very well with the chrome (But I do wonder if the extra $23k AUD for the CVO is justified) But now I have her I wouldn't be without her!

$23K?  That's about $17,000 USD!  The difference between a standard Fatboy and a CVO Fatboy US/Domestic is only about $11k.  Scary bit of extra markup that is.....  [smiley=nervous.gif]
