Zerk On Transmission
« on: March 12, 2010, 11:08:29 PM »

Hello All,

I cannot find any references to the purpose of the grease zerk located on my transmission.
It is conspicuously absent on the 6 speeds of both my buddys' bikes, an '08 Eglide and an '09 RK.
Is it a Dyna thing, or a CVO thing?
No references in the maintenance sections of my manual, and searches in here and web-wide on Google yield nothing.

Aha, didn't occur to me.
I guess my bud's bikes are TBW but clutch-by-cable LOL

Sorry, I'm the new guy here.
I've dealt only with cables; sorry if my questions are out of line.
Glad I didn't "grease" the tranny.
