Raked front end, What bar choice?
« on: March 31, 2010, 12:08:35 AM »

So I ordered a new front end. I got a 14* inverted 65mm forks and triple tree kit. My big Question is what bar should I use. I am going with the chubby wild-1 drag bar. What will be the ideal size 6'', 8'', 10'' to avoid hitting the tank. I really don't wanna order them and have to buy a second set.

Here is a picture of what the end result will be close to.

here are a couple more examples.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Larry T

Yea I read that tread. Not really liking hangers. I actually called Wild-1. They got me hooked up.

As for the kit. I actually bought the last kit with the 65mm inverted forks available from them. This summer they are gonna start selling a 58mm invert fork setup. I Just really liked the 65mm. It really makes the bike look like a HOTROD rather than a chopper.
