1st Post And Need Some Good Advice
« on: May 17, 2010, 05:49:21 PM »

Just purchased an 05 CVO fat boy and love everything about it except for the seat. I was wondering if anyone sent a seat out and had it redone sucessfully. Meaning was it much more comfortable? I want to keep the same basic look, but want a much more comfortable seat. Is it possible to have the look and comfort? If so I would love to have that info. I can only do 100 mile rides on this seat and would love to be able to go 300 without any problems. Your help and direction would greatly be appreciated. Take care and ride safe.

Hey Hammer,

Welcome, and great choice of bike   ;)

Hopefully the link I pasted works.  If not, do a search for "seat" and a few posts will pop up.  Good luck!

Welcome aboard from Minnesota! If it involves spending money, someone on this forum will help you out. You may want to stop over to the New Members Intro thread and introduce  yourself.

Sent mine to mcseating. It sure isnt gonna be extremely cumfy but alot bettter than stock. Getting a custom seat isn't gonna be cheap for sure. Leather with added extra padding and GEL insert
