I'm learning, not use to such precision work, my method usually requires a BFH.  :nixweiss:



Got some help from a friend that does precision work all the time for final setup this morning. .001 with the .100 yellow spacer,  .003 is a sheet of paper.

Had to take a look in the camchest, just a smidge of fuzz on the magnet bottom of camplate, guess I'll pull the pushrods and lifters out to inspect them. About 25k on the build, very seldom sees over 5k rpm's.

gear set and drive pulley installed

First time I set the end play I used 75-140 gear oil on the bearings and race while performing that step. This time I used a light gun oil as advised. We'll see what happens but I get it.

Well I am loading my bike this morning for the ride down to Daytona FL.  Cant leave till noon, so we will spend the night along the way and be there by noon Thursday.

I ordered a replacement battery today. My original battery is getting a little weak after 4 years and almost 55,000 miles. I'm going to try the
Yuasa GYZ32HL Battery. They say it has 500 CCA's and it has really good reviews. Amazon has it on sale for $159 and it is supposedly in stock. So, as they say, we'll see!

I went on a HOG chapter lunch ride today.  156 miles round trip and a decent reuben sandwich.
