A buddy here sold his 06 bike today and had left over a pair of never installed 27709-06A fuel injectors.  These are the injectors that changed the part from an 8

Sorry, Don, they won't work in your 2005 model.  The whole system changed in 2006; the injectors are physically different (mount differently, taller) and the wire connectors are different.

Good only for an early 2006 model that had 8 degree injectors, or as a stock replacement for the currently used units.  JK
