No it was not a revisionable part number.  The same kit part number came with several different gauges (2 or 3)..  My first gauge kit that failed came with a gauge that didn't match very close but lit up very red at night like the speedo/tach..  M&M sent me another complete kit and the gauge that was in it and have now on my bike looks exactly like my other gauges other than it does not have the needle stop.  When ignition is off the needle falls further down than the other gauges.  When ignition is turned on, the oil temp gauge immediately raises to the lowest reading mark.  My new gauge is also dimly lite like my other three gauges.  Hope this helps.
