As an FYI for those who have not, even if you have one on order, I took a demo ride on a CVO Fatboy this weekend.

Wow, how do you get a demo ride on a CVO?  If you weren't so far away I'd blast a path to Topeka this weekend!  Dealers around here have demo rides, but not on the SE's.  You gonna be the first to let us know what you think of the CVO V-Rod?

Glave, one of the first things I asked the dealer was wheres the heel shifter?  If you look in the brochure or the Harley web site, it talks about buckshot heel/toe sifter.  Not a big deal, I've gotten used to it and now prefer it.
Regarding get up and go; it does have tendency to set you back a bit when you get on it.  When I took the stock muffler system off and put the 2into1 Vance and Hines pro pipe Hs and installed the power commander.  Wow, it scared me a bit. Particularly second third and fourth.  You get to that ninety pretty fast and plenty left for fifth gear. [smiley=7.gif]

If you want the heel shifter you have to also purchase the shifter linkage arm that fits the Heritage Classic so that there is room for the rear lever. So you have to buy 3 parts, the linkage arm, the shifter arm and the peg. I rode a Heritage before my CVO so I just about required the heel shifter, besides it shaves of .000000001 of a second on shifts! HARHAR
