It pains my heart to write this but Mike passed away sometime last night. Brian told me he fell sometime during the night in the bathroom and hit his head. His wife found him this morning. Rest in Peace my dear friend till we meet again

just got off the phone with Donna
she said they have not been able to talk to all family members yet and asked that you don't put any thing on on their face book pages yet.

It always saddens me when I read of these matters as we are sometimes taken too soon for those of us left. This is certainly the case here.
MIKEYTEE was a vibrant personality, filled with so much life and fun. You could not help but be influenced by his good nature and need for fun.
Over the years he stepped up when others would not. Maggie Valley, Meeting in the Middle, Planning and don't forget the "Juice"! You just knew you were going to have a good time when he arrived.
As a husband, father, uncle and friend, he rose to the occasion and spread the love. Kind, considerate and caring helping others along the way.
Our lost will be heaven's gain and I am certain the "big man" is having MIKEYTEE work his magic now! I know I will see him again one day but for now I will take in all of the great memories of this giant of a man.
Love ya brother. Keep Smilin'

Too many wonderful memories. Not enough space to put them all into words.
The words of Unc put onto a sign.
Until we meet again, we'll keep your chair open.

MikeyTee was a American Original if there ever was one.
I can't seem to find any words at this moment to describe him better than those that have already posted.
I will greatly miss seeing my friend, until we meet again and get to Ponder in the great beyond.
RIP MikeyTee Zen Master of Pondering

For anyone that wishes to imbibe I was just inspired to an idea by JC. Found a local store that sells some beverage. Including a Cherry Pie that's not bad. Not as good as Mikey's but not bad. Will be picking a jar up shortly.
Tonight at 9 Central Time (or anywhere thereabouts) I'll raise a jar to Uncle Mike. In fact will raise the jar several times. Anyone that wishes to join in I'm guessing Mike would enjoy the thought of one more drunk on his behalf. Feel free to share :drink: :2vrolijk_21: .

Hi all,
Thank you so sharing such wonderful memories, pictures and stories of my dad. I have read them to my mom and she was so touched.
The family toasted dad earlier today and will join in on the 9pm central time toast (well several) :drink: :drink: :drink:to my dad as he is watching down and smiling with us.
We are having a drop in at the mom and dads house next Saturday. Please feel free to reach out to me if you can make it and need directions. Call or text me at (757) 902-5456.
Love to all,
Donna, Jim and Susie
