#24 on page 98 had to be replaced, speedometer kit 74717-10.  She would only reach 4000 rpm again.  Console interconnect would not perform the vibrations.  Bend the pins without hesitation.

Not sure I am getting this post but I think you are saying your tach would not work properly.??

  Mine is not working and the dealer worked on it at the 1000 mile svc.  It would act normal then decide to sit at 1000rpm no matter what the engine speed.... Then go to 0 at a stop. Sometimes I would tach at 500rpm for a stop then 1000 after shut-down then re-start..  After the 1000 mile svc it seemed fixed but was going to work the other day and had a particularly fun acceleratin up the hwy on ramp....When I looked down the tach kicked a couple hundred rpm twice then decided to go to 0....! At 68 mph!

  Back to the dealer.. They said they will replace it and I guess burn in the approximate mileage.
