Was wondering on recommendations for a hitch and trailer wiring harness with isolator for my 2015 FLTRUSE? The hitch needs to be 1 1/4" receiver type to work with a N-Line trailer 1 1/4" receiver. Thanks in advance.

I used Bushtec on the wiring and have been happy. I am sure some others will chime in but I understand that there are a couple other aftermarket companys that are making the isolator and people seem pleased with them also.

Me too, Bushtec to me seems the simplest one to install. That being said, I have no experience with others, all 4 of my bikes that I pulled trailers with were Bushtec setups.

I have the Bushtec hidden hitch and wiring harness. I like the setup and they are soooooooo easy to install.

If you deal with Bushtec be sure to tell them what connector you are using otherwise they will send the isolator for the Bushtec trailer. 4, 5, or 6 wire and depending on your trailer you may have to buy the trailer pigtail and splice back in to get everything correct.

She can fill up a trailer on a overnight trip.

Thanks to everyone for the response. It seems like Bushtec is a favorite among everyone. After checking several hitches, who had what in stock, and all I ended up ordering a Khrome Werks with the 1 1/4" receiver that will work with the NLine trailer make receiver. I also ordered the correct plug n play wire isolator with trailer harness for a 4 wire. I should have all items hopefully by this weekend. I will respond with a review on the hitch and wiring isolator.

This is the hitch, even though I do not need the ball receiver, the NLine male receiver will plug right in

I bought a new Roadstar and had the hitch and light harness installed by the factory traveling Bushtec folks while in Thunder Beach last weekend. Great guys, did a nice job installing it.
