Title: Anyone know this bike?
Post by: hverbakel on November 20, 2014, 05:31:41 PM
I just bought this bike from a fleet auction in California and am wondering if anyone know of its history, I am told it comes from a Harley dealer near Spokane Washington.

Nice Bike! What year is that? Also dont recognize what that is under the tourpak?? And maybe its these old eyes, but is the rear exhaust split to dump out the other side?

That is a beautiful bike.  Congratulations!

Good eye, Gramps.  That looks like a shroud under the tour pack which certainly cleans up the look.  The exhaust looks like it's a two into one.    :2vrolijk_21:

I would love to speak with the previous owner if he is a member here, or if anyone knows the bike. Apparently it was traded in on a new bike at Lone Wolf Harley in Spokane Washington.

It is a 2001 CVO Road Glide with dual exhaust. I hope it looks as good as it does in the pictures.

I just bought this bike from an auction company in California and I am trying to locate the previous owner to get some details. Apparently it was a trade in on a new Harley at Lone Wolf Harley in Spokane Washington.

Updated info tells me the bike was in Yorba Linda California.  Does anyone recognize the bike or know of a previous owner?

Here's a Picture of my showroom new 2001 in the other color.  Just the way it came from the factory with 1.5 miles on it right before I took delivery in 2001.  The panels under the tourpak were standard on these models as well as the 12 disc changer and yes those are the original Harley touring mufflers with the factory shark fin tips.  They were tucked away in storage when I picked up bike.  Its still a blast to ride after almost 13 years.  Enjoy your bike.  My dealer only received one of both colors and the one like yours is on it's 4th owner.

Take the VIN # to your local HD dealer & have them run it in their system.

Generally speaking if you call the dealership that the bike was traded in at they will be able to assist you with information from the trade in. They might not give you a name or phone number, but have had the dealership pass my phone number on to the prior owner so they can contact you if they are interested in talking. I have talked with the previous owner of my bike that way, as well as have been asked to call a guy that purchase a bike I traded in

well its in my garage now, next to the o6' and I couldn't be happier. Washington plate is still on the bike, Sony radio, Corbin seat, eagle tips on Rineharts, beautiful condition and runs like a top. If anyone knows of the whereabouts of the previous owner, please let me know. I would just like to get some background history on the bike.

I've tried but no luck, I thought someone from the area would recognize the bike with some of the unusual add ons.

If you know your dealer at all, they will give you the prev owners name, no other personal info.....but with luck a name is enough. I hate Facebook but when I bought a cuse4, I found the previuos owner and all factory accessories. Good luck
