OK, while riding the Boom audio sometimes breaks up, decreases or goes away. This happens with the radio and playing music from the USB stick so the antenna's not the problem. So when I pull in the clutch the music comes back. This only happens while riding not at idle.
Has anyone had this problem? My dealer never heard about this problem before and when he rode the bike it worked fine, just my luck.

My thought is a poor connection and the  clutch switch circuit is causing feed back in the bus line.

Try turnning the speed control volume off, and also adjusted it differently,
           To see if it changes the radio operation.

New here to forums and this is the reason I'm on here looking for an answer. I know exactly what your talking about, it sounds like it should sitting or just coasting with the clutch pulled in but let go and it sounds like it's choppy or like a under water type sound to it, real in and out. And it wasn't always every ride but lately it has been. I want to take it to my dealer and have them ride it and hope it does it so I don't sound crazy. We'll see. Oh its a 17 cvo sg.

Any one find a fix to this problem, because Im having the same issue. It's like bad radio reception even with usb and goes way when clutch is pulled in and only while in motion. Dealer can't find a problem. Its NOT antenna's have replaced them. Gut feeling is its some type of electrical interference.

Don't laugh, but IIRC, someone on here had an audio problem that was being caused by a bad wheel bearing.  I know it sounds crazy, but

That is crazy! But mine has got so bad that it started doing it before even hitting the road.  I was able to get video of it. Dropped it off at dealer they're going to trouble shoot it. They never heard of it. My guess is that the head unit my have a built in filter gone bad. Idk

I can understand the bearing causing it. The magnetic pick up and the magnet in the ABS bearing could throw off some weird harmonics that would interfere with radio signals or even the can bus sytem and the pick up cable runs right up by the head unit. Even the brake lever because of the flex link braking system, ABS and the can bus could be affected but no idea about the clutch.

Well I don't know until I ride it but they claim that it was the amp. So they replaced it and I'm good to go come and get. Now I gotta find time to go get it. I'll report back when I pick it up and get to ride it. Wouldn't have guessed it'd be an amp.

Silver keep us up dated please, still trying to track my problem down. Any way you can up load your video want to see if its the same problem.

Found my problem, it was the voltage regulator. Replaced and all problems are gone.
