Rebuild is fine if done right. If buying a crate motor pass on the HD 120 motor and get the S&S 124 Crate engine. If you do the new engine you will need a larger throttle body, larger injectors and a stronger clutch.

I went with a rebuild by Jim.

If you go with a rebuild, you could get the 117" kit...

I went with the 120ST Crate engine after considering cost and warranty. I put 1,000 miles on then took it in for tune and dyno, sheet attached. I pick it up in the next couple days because they are doing the 150,000 mile service while it is in the shop. I haven't found any posts with the 120ST dyno results to compare with the results so I thought I'd post mine to get feedback. I don't yet have the sheet with the air/fuel ratio included but I'll post after I pick up the bike and get the sheet.
Thoughts?

That's right in line with what we get out of the ST engines. I feel it is a good running engine and you'll enjoy it.

Thanks, I'm hoping to get another 150K out of this engine.

What exhaust system are you using with the 120?
