2007 road king cvo
« on: June 19, 2020, 02:43:57 PM »

my bike once in awhile revved up and i smelled gas. It only has 6000 miles on it but also has a racing kit installed. I took it to the harley dealer and he played with it and got it to never low idle. They told me it was the idle modular so they ordered one. Now they tell me it is stalling any suggestions???

Welcome from PA!

2007 and 6000 miles ...

It's revving all by itself?

They put in a new module and now it stalls?

Let them deal with it or, change dealerships.

Cheers,

what exactly is a "racing kit"?  what components have been changed from stock?  What fuel tuner does the bike have?

Where are you in BC?  You may be better served going to independent harley mechanic with some experience in harleys with modified engines.

For example, Lonewolf Performance (1621 BOWEN ROAD NANAIMO BC V9S 1G7) is well known on the performance side in BC.  If they are close to you it may be a much better option than the dealer.
