Transmission Gasket Re-installation
« on: May 09, 2014, 09:36:20 AM »

Sorry but I couldn't find an answer to this question.....  I have removed my right side transmission cover because some dick stripped by tranny dipstick....
Question One:  The replacement gasket is sort of concave.   Is there a right/wrong orientation for this gasket when re-installing?
Question Two:  Should I use gasket adhesive or not?
Thanks in advance for your answer.
Cheers and safe riding (now that summer is finally here!)
Greg.

No gasket orientation is required.

No gasket adhesive is necessary, but it won't hurt to use any, either...
