I rode from Glacier National Park to Red Lodge, Montana.  Going to ride over Bear Tooth Pass tomorrow..........along with many others, apparently.  This town is full of motorcycles.  It was 71F at 6:00 p.m. so it's motorcycle riding weather here in Montana!

Bearthooth pass is my favorite road in the country, my wife's also.  Every time we ride out to Sturges, we go home via Red Lodge and Beartooth pass, its a 700 mile detour for us, but worth it.  Enjoy

Yeah, Beartooth is one of my wife's and my favourite rides as well.  Last year on a trip out west we were supposed to do it for the third time, but unfortunately our trip was cut short when I ended up in the Jackson hospital for 5 days with pneumonia and had to fly home with nurse by my side... Doc said I had a oxygen level of 68 when admitted and that was at 6,200'.  So had I gone for Beartooth the next day, I never would have made it over according to his expert advise.

With having COPD I'm sill dealing with the after effects of pneumonia but much, much better than I was... It actually helps to ride because it is forcing air into me!   :2vrolijk_21:

Hopefully we'll get another opportunity to ride Beartooth someday.  Till then we have wonderful memories.

Wow, sounds like you had a close call there.....happy to know that you're still sucking air!

If I remember correctly, didn't you go down to Ariz. every winter?  If you get down there again, let me know.....I'm in the Tucson area now.

Spent most of the day yesterday replacing my plugs, went with NGK 3521 Iridiums ($8.99 each at local parts store), wires, chose to go with 10mm Screamin Eagle's, new bars, 12" FMB Baggers Phatty Mercanary's (Merc's) and a set of blacked out Kahuna Heated Grips. Everything works extremely well and looks killer. I'll ad some pic's when I get a chance.

Well Emma Jane get her first set of tires today. She had 18900 miles on that set. Went back with the OEM D407 & D408 Dunlops.

Just took off the fuel tank to get some good photos of the bubbling paint on the inner and outer rocker box covers. Also the paint is bubbling on the primary cover. Warranty is up next month so want to get it all sorted now.

Anyone else had issues with this?

Late Post, Added KST Kustoms Vanguard Collection, 14" Pioneers and Kahuna Heated Grips. Took me 2 hours and 3 beers to install. I wish I would have done it sooner!! :pepper:
