Title: RCX-haust
Post by: FL CVO on May 05, 2015, 07:17:44 PM
Finally started the process of making my RK sound right. Picked up some new RCX-haust slip-ons at Thunder Beach. Now to save up for the header pipe, tuner, etc...

The RC Gatlin muffs have a great sound IMO. A Fullsac DX head pipe with them allows use of the stock heat shields and runs very good with a TTS map from Fullsac you can download.

Thanks! Will definitely keep that in mind when the money is saved up.

Was considering these before, but they have a large 2.5" core. Too big IMO- I think mainly designed for catted headpipes.

They do look and sound good though- very similar sound to Rineharts, which isn't surprising since they use the same louvered spiral core. The choice of tips and the price make them a great buy though.

I used the RC head pipe with the RC Gatlins and a PC V tuner. Went from 84hp to 104 hp after dyno tune. They sound great, but loud.
