Title: Hitch and V&H pipes
Post by: bakon on January 14, 2017, 09:56:59 AM
With the side mount on the V&H pipes, and the bracket that comes from the side to the stock mount location, has anyone had a problem with a hitch fitting?

2014 CVO Limited with V&H Hi-Output pipes..

YOu can see the bolts to the side of the muffler body, not the top stock location

I have a '16 CVO Limited with V&H 4.5" pipes and bushtec hitch. Give bushtec a call, they make a offset mounting bracket for the large diameter pipes. If I remember correctly, they cost about $70.

I think mine are only 4 inch. Slightly under really. But maybe just need to have VH bracket cut to allow the hitch to run up side to fender bolts. Seen a few other hitch makes which might work without mods. The bolt together three piece look like they might hit. The Khrome Works models might be fine.

As for Bushtec- like their trailer and hitch pin idea. but still shopping for trailers and might go the cheap 1500 dollar aluminum model route.. Good to know Bushtec got something that will work
