Would also like to see a photo from the dealers floor, the advertising blurb don't ever seem to show the real
thing, colours look different in real life.

Here...https://motorcycles.harley-davidson.com/us/en/motorcycles/2018/cvo/cvo-limited.html
It shows all three paint schemes. Here's a good pic from the same link...

In my opinion that is the only one worth buying

I'm not sure worth is the best word there.....
It is nice from the pictures but at $44K? Dang it all, that's a lot of clams for a toy.
I was none too happy with the cost of my '15 even with a fairly decent deal being end of the model year and it had been sitting on the showroom for about 6 months. It was still the most I had ever spend on a motorcycle. I won't say never again but it may be a long time if ever that I purchase another new motorcycle at these prices. I make decent money now but how in the world can the youth of our time afford these? I couldn't at their age....
.....and you kids get off my lawn..... ;D
....OK, off my :soapbox:

I hear ya. When we were that age and spent that kind of money, it came with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, AND a garage!
-
I agree, its alot of money. And it seems the value just never seems to hold. My 07 cvo ultra was paid off, sold it for a 13, put the money from the sale on it and still needed a loan. Did the same on my 15. Now maybe doing it on the 18.
Now im depressed

Salesman at a nearby HD is trying to get me to buy a red or black '18 CVO Limited from them. I asked about the Anny model; he checked and said the blue won't even go into production until January.
Local dealer isn't too happy with MoCo announcing new models or paints and then not having any of them to sell until several months later, when a lot of the interest has died. Said that happened to him with the RK Special that HD announced earlier this year--didn't show up for 3 months.

Since they are "supposed" to be limited numbers, and only one per dealer, wouldn't be surprised if lots of dealers mark them above MSRP.

I had a deposit on one at dealer & they were selling at MSRP. But wasn't suppose to be there until January 2018. I thought about it & decided to just keep my 2015 CVO RG instead & do the 117" motor on it. Just cant justify spending $43K on a bike. Prices are getting out of hand on these toys....

Looks as nice as I thought it would, but for $55k+ a tad heavy for my liking.

Made a deal on a late Feb build of a 115th Oyster Blue. Love the chrome and paint, which seems harder and harder to find. As giddy as a little girl. Never thought I’d go with a Limited, but we ride 2up whenever we ride, so it made sense to us to sell both current rides and move to one. Got a month or so to move our 2, then have to deal with the violation I will take on them as trades. OUCH! Lol

There are two areas available for posting bikes for sale under Marketplace.
1. Selling - for selling your bike
2. 3rd Party for Sale - if you want to link someone else's items for sale, say from Craigslist or eBay.

Thank You!

I am in Australia and have been told not to expect mine until end of March, Jan build, this has been pushed
back from the initial Nov build Jan delivery.

Nice color but that price is nuts...

Got a call from my dealer yesterday, he had no new information on build date. Impatiently waiting.

I was fortunate enough to get in line early and put $$$ down payment. I learned my Anniversary CVO Limited shipped from York, PA and should be here this week.
I'm told the dispersement of these vehicles is based on the dealerships sales volume during a certain sales tracking window. My dealer shared California, for example, would receive a total of CVO Limited Anniversary color bikes.
The pics online look great and I am excited to see the bike in the flesh (or steel, rather).
Many Ultra Limiteds out there recently, with the Anniversary color, and the paint scheme is very, very similar. That's my one beef about it...the CVO Limited does not have a truly unique paint scheme (though the striping seems thicker).
-
I saw one at my local dealer in Texas last Thursday. It was number 335. The Sales Manager told me they have three locations and will only receive one 115th CVO Limited Anniversary in Odyssey Blue. It had arrived Tuesday and sold Saturday.
-
I put a deposit down for an anniversary model in September. The dealer received notice on 12/4 that they would receive it 12/8. I went to see it and loved it. As many know, pictures just don't do these bikes justice. I have no experience with past CVO colors, but it is a very beautiful bike. It is number 218 and is my first touring bike. I took some pictures and will post them soon. Glad to be a CVO owner!!!
-
At 45k or more I would be buying a real nice car or truck. Just to much for a MC. But that's me. :drink:

Me too. I just picked up my FLHTKSEANV today! It needs more light, so I am adding the Airwing tourpak light and the saddle bag lights, too.
smoked lenses for each.
I may even add some Electra-glow lighting to this bike......a nice blue glow around the engine would look great.

I like the saddlebag lights. They have stop/tail/turn and are great if you want to make the tour pac removable at some point.

Same rear end on the RGU the last 3 years

Asked my dealer about bullet turn signals for the rear fender. My '15 CVO has them, but I will not be able to replicate that look as there are currently no bullet turn signal lights for the rear fender for the CVO Limiteds.

You can go to your profile and add the picture to your signature (see this thread - How To Create A Signature.... (https://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=17414.0)). This way you don't have to worry about attaching it to each post it will automatically be there (as in my signature pic/info below).
In the signature text box add this code -
It will display as this....

Like most, my dealer is only getting one. Gotta admit I like it being limited. Reminds me of my first CVO (2001 FLTRSEI2) unlike lately, I never saw my old bike on the road. CVOs should be rare!
-
Are you going to make it yours motor1??
-
Are you going to make it yours motor1??
I’m afraid not this go-round. I still have my 15 SERGU, Other than excessive valvetrain noise, fear of lifter failure, intermittent check engine light, and crappy front suspension, I’m happy with it,lol!
Love the idea of the new engine but quite honestly I prefer the Shark Vs Bat. The prices are starting to turn my stomach, but had that been a Road Glide I would’ve had to have considered it.
Definitely the best looking of the 18’s, but I guess I’m old-fashioned when it comes to how I think a Harley should look.
-
Yea the prices for the Anniversary CVO Limited is $43,000. The prices are getting out of hand. I too had a deposit on one but pulled the deposit. I just installed a 117" kit on my 15 CVO RG instead. But it is one of the best looking CVO's thou...
-
wow....Now that is a real CVO. Sure wish they had done this to the rest of th 17s
-
I'm sure I'm in the minority, I looked at them but the big assed tank badge is flat out ugly both on the cvo and the non cvo anniversary bikes.

You're not alone in your thinking.

I like it and was part of my decision to buy it just my.02.

FWIW, the tank badge (and production serial #) contributed to my desire for the bike.
Very distinctive.

IMHO, this video gives you the most accurate representation (true color, etc.) of the way the anniversary edition looks like in person. He did a great job with the lighting, etc. If the video does not work, it is listed as "2018 CVO Screamin' Eagle Electra Glide Ultra Limited 115th Anniversary-odyssey blue" in youtube.
-
CVO Anniversary vs Ultra Limited Anniversary. Guy doing the comparison prefers the later, colour wise.

You started this thread way back in September and have waited a long time for this day, and now even though with this mild weather we're enjoying (and no doubt you're itching to get out there) you have to wait for the roads to get cleaned up. I know you're pain with me taking deliver in mid-Dec of my last CVO.
Good news is spring is just around the corner, or should I say just around a large bend (Feb).
Enjoy your new ride.
