Title: Transmission Tools
Post by: Yellow09SERG on December 16, 2017, 11:17:58 AM
Will the tools required to remove the tranny from the 06 up twin cams work on the M8's? The reason I am asking is that I have seemed to aquired some little pink puddles that seem to follow the bike no matter where I park her. Trying to decide if it makes more since to just buy the needed tools and replace the seals and MDG bearing at home or take it to an indy for the repairs.

no offence but if it is a M8 shouldn't that still be under factory warranty

I think he has an older bike and will buy the tools only if he can use them on newer bikes in the future.

You are correct Chuck. I have an 09 and would buy the tools to make the repair if they would work on the late model stuff as well
