i have a buddy with a 99 ultra that wants to replace factory radio with a cheap alternative and still have handle bar controls any suggestions?

The hand controls will be functional with almost any stereo if he buys the  control module...mine are Scoshi(sp?) brand and all functions work flawlessly.
