Title: 2016 intermediately shutting off

Well, I got my bike with 420 miles on it on March 30th. Has 1100 miles now, getting the 1000 mile service done this week. Today I was on the way to work and I was stopping at a stop light and the bike backfired loudly and then when I went to take off it shutdown and blew smoke. Started right back up and no problems, left work rode home no problems. Go to dinner no problems on the way there, it shut off while decelling to a stop light. I flipped the switch and started right back up and went home. Any opinions on what’s going on? Thanks

Newbie, but I had similar issue on mine.  Battery terminal was loose.  Check all the connections.  Good luck

Haven’t even had the seat off he haha! I’ll check tonight
