Title: 2019's being unloaded
Post by: Designflaw on August 21, 2018, 11:47:57 AM
here's some of the 19's - I like the no button bigger touch screen. A bit pissed about the 114 now being standard waiting to see what they do for the CVO's

Are the primaries vented?

Harley-Davidson.com has the 2019's on their website.

On the CVO Road Glide then added something extra on the fairing. Looks to act as a wind block much like a lower fairing would do but it's extended of the fairing.

From a Shark perspective, the Road Glide Ultra looks like the most bang for the buck. If you like black it's a super value. For color you pay more;

PRICING6
VIVID BLACK $27,689
COLOR $28,289
TWO-TONE $28,789
TWO-TONE CUSTOM COLOR $29,889
ABS OPTION Standard
SECURITY SYSTEM OPTION Standard
CRUISE CONTROL OPTION Standard
PREMIUM RADIO OPTION Standard
CALIFORNIA EMISSIONS $200
FREIGHT $435

Well Harley just tanked the 2017 CVO values. A 114" engine and stretched saddlebags standard on the Roadglide special and Streetglide special on those 2019's.

Last year's Specials had the stretch bags as well. Adding the 114" is a good move. I expect that next year the CVO's will have 121" or more.

The Blue Max in the standard Streetglide and the orange/denim black in the Streetglide special are better looking paints than the CVO's. IMHO.

I don't like any of the CVO Glide colors. I do like the no button bigger touch screen though. Wonder if it performs better. I am pissed the 114 is Standard now but that just means its time to step it up this winter. Nothing here makes me want to go get a 2019. So I guess I'm safe to wait till 2020.  :drink:

glad I'm not ready for a 2019 CVO Limited. The paint colors suck...

I agree and I’m pissed. Have a 2017 but getting close to 30,000 miles and wanted to trade up before I lost too much on mileage. I’d sure hate to move backwards but the orange Linited looks rather sweet. Could take and build it close to a CVO.

Man I was really looking forward to something cool this year. So disappointed. I was hoping for something in a solid Dark Blue like the anniversary bike.
I’m considering just getting away from the CVO and go Limited with my own design to it. But not impress with those colors either. Hard pressed to give up my 2015 Martoon and Silver for 1 of these
I’m not too sure they didn’t just raise the resale value of my 2015 with a brand new engine in it

Is the screen bigger?  They are still calling it the 6.5, so I think it's the same size, just no buttons.  :nixweiss:

Not to be a Negative Nancy, but how many of those changes mentioned in the article are going to turn out to be first year "issues."

Several of those "changes" are in their second year.  That's close to false advertising.

The prices went up and the cvo's got more ugly then they were last year.

I looked at the CVO rg and sg vs the rg and sg specials, so all you’re gaining is a (ugly besides the blue CVO RG) paint job, 3 cubic inches, and the rear speakers for what, $12k?
