Don, nice lid  :2vrolijk_21:

How's the weight of that bucket ?

It's just barely over 2 pounds.  I've been riding with it this summer and like it a lot.  The flip down sun shade eliminates any need for separate sunglasses.  I personally don't really like wearing sunglasses so that is a personal benefit.  Even with the gap between shade and face it still keeps the rain out of your eyeballs as well as glasses ever did (found that out once so far).  The amount of extra air from the vent when open isn't huge but it is noticeable.  The last couple weeks here it's been warm enough that every little bit helps; so I'll take it.

I ride year round and wear a Shoei Neo-Tec Modular. I also live in Central Florida and we have some heat here (Feel Like is 105 as I write this). But I have been on my head before at speed and can promise a good helmet is worth a little sweating & a anti-stink lining is also a very important option for my sweaty head.

Gota be carefull with using a spray product to kill a smelly helmet,  it will lead to male pattern baldness.

Ok, looking for advice on cleaning helmet I have, not advice on helmet I SHOULD have bought. No helmet to  DOT Daytona is certainly s step up. Try riding image helmet with temps in 90's in to most of year. So, anyone with advice on cleaning mine...awesome. advice in helmet I bought.....no thanks

Good reply.  Any DOT helmet is a good choice over no helmet or a novelty helmet.  Daytona's are pretty good.  I use a SkidLidz brand helmet (which by the way is also DOT rated) since it will fit in my saddlebags.  That's the only reason I use it.  I like to lock it up while I'm at work.  My Harley half helmet fits my head better and looks better though.

I wish I had some good advice for you on cleaning it, but unfortunately I have no ideas.  Just wanted to agree with you that all the other comments aren't really needed when you did buy a DOT helmet and are just asking for advice on cleaning it.
