Just a shot from the summer of 2017 in Red Rock Canyon outside of Las Vegas.
Nice picture that brings back a lot of memories! As kids we would ride our dirt bikes right up into that canyon behind you. It is mostly a sand wash. Way up in there was a little reservoir and we would hang out. One time we waded into it with a burlap sack and caught a couple of goldfish and a friend brought them home in a sandwich bag full of water. We would also have races back to the bottom with our motors turned off and just coasting! You would be surprised how fast you could get going trying to never touch the brakes going into corners! Alas they eventually put an end to that sort of thing, and no motorcycles allowed. I am sure there are so many better memories being made now with whoever else is allowed to enjoy inside that canyon!
The joys of growing up on a motorcycle. We even were allowed to ride our motorcycles to school on occasion for motorcycle club in 9th grade. We would wear our leathers to school for half a day on a Friday and ride out to meet other School motorcycle clubs and race each other’s club. Again this was discontinued a few years later. The do-gooders always figure out a way to stop all of the fun!!!
