Since this is a RE-BUILDING year for my Clemson Tigers, I have been mum on their season. Funny how sports can turn experts into fools. While I am overjoyed with their success this year, I am more excited about 2018. 4 out of the top 9 high school players will be Tigers next year, and they might not be done yet. Them Dawgs did pretty good on recruiting also.

If they beat Bammer, I hope to face Georgia..........not wishing bad for your Sooners, just a little scared of Mayfield. Tigers biggest weakness is against a GOOD pass attack and they haven't faced one like the Okies have.

Okies defense will be their doom is my fear. Thinking all it will take is to slow Mayfield a little. They have relied all year just on offense but don't think that will hold true at this level

Looking forward to these playoffs. No dog for me in these hunts. My interest in the NFL over the past few years has sunk to the point of not caring about caring. College ball still interests me, has always interested me more. More fun, game is still good & fun to watch. Good teams in the mix this year, will be an interesting result (hopefully) no matter how it plays out.

Agree completely with the NFL, actually I am just about out on all the pro sports. College kids for the most.part are still there for the love of the game and has always been my preferred sports level. Playoffs this year should be fun, dog in the hunt or not

Georgia/Oklahoma was a great game. Alabama was ready for Clemson no doubt. Ohio State bowl game result to me shows NCAA playoffs could eventually be expanded to include more teams. College ball rocks, more fun to watch.

Even though my Sooners got kicked, I still have to agree it was a good game to watch. But not sure that either one of them will stand a chance against Bama. When you are seeing 100 point games it just say no defense on either side. Bama has a defensive so they don't need a huge amount of points to win.

Oh I agree 100%, he is a total dick. I sure wish the Heisman committee would take in both on field and off field antics in the selection process and give that trophy and title to someone who promotes the sport in a positive manor.

And I want to modify that post a little. It shouldn't start with the players, the coaches are supposed to be the ones in control but you don't see it happening. All they want is another win no matter what....

8 team playoff would be something to look at I think

Agreed, Alabama looks tough to beat, had figured on a close Sugar Bowl instead of what we saw. 8 team playoff makes more sense. Several scenarios out there - make the first round prior to Christmas. Realize there will always be somebody in 9th place that is pissed, but 8 makes the Ohio State deal like this year moot.

yep Ray, the defense played well but when your offense sputters Bama will punish you. They really took my Tigers to the woodshed
