After.

Oh No!  That does not look good, not at all.  How are your ribs, looks like they musta took quite a beating there.  Sorry to hear about your accident.  Keep looking for a new bike, a same as before or newer-better if there is such a thing.  When you are supposed to find it, it will be there for you.  Good luck on the healing process.   :cherry:

Hey Mike, so sorry 'bout the collision w/ the deer.  Just glad it wasn't any worse than it is.  I had a good riding buddy that had a deer hit him and he wasn't as lucky......heal quickly and ride on safely.  :2vrolijk_21: spyder

I'm still alive. I have been a member of this site for At least two years (I'm not sure how i lost my membership). I hit a deer two days ago traveling 65 m/h while going to work on my motorcycle.  ...

Glad you came through.  Fear 'o deer is always on my mind when riding at night.  Was your hit in the dark?

Mike,
Glad you're okay.  Sorry about the bike.  VAZHOG mentioned the two cherry jesters at Waugh's in Orange, VA.  A week or so back, Bubba (on this forum) said he had a new Black/Orange jester in Paducah, KY.  Hope one of these is close enough for a quick trip when you're ready.

I'm still alive. I have been a member of this site for At least two years (I'm not sure how i lost my membership). I hit a deer two days ago traveling 65 m/h while going to work on my motorcycle. The helmet saved my life (please wear your helmet). I have 8 staples in my head, one major bruise on my hip and my knuckles are gnawed off on both hands. I'm lucky too be alive but I'm already missing my bike. Just to let you know there is one less fltrsei2 on the road now. I had just completed all the modifications that i wanted. I would list them but there is too many to list and it doesn't matter now. Me and my wife are riders for life, (she is hard core as they come) so we are already looking for our next show piece. We would like to find a fltrcuse2 to replace the bike we had. If anyone knows this bike for sell we will be willing to drive to get it. I will attach a before and after picture of the bike.  I am looking forward to meeting more of the people from this site.. Please feel free to contact me here. I'm going to be off work for 6 days total and plan on getting back to normal soon. Every man dies but not every man truly lives.

P.S. We are True eagle riders to the end.

Mike, I'm glad to hear that you are doing okay. I agree, you are lucky to be alive after hitting a deer at 65mph. I'd say you got your moneys worth out of that helmet. Were you wearing gloves, boots and leathers when you went down? God speed a fast recovery to you.

Mike , glad you are still around!  Any crash you can walk away from is a good thing.  Having survived one 2 weeks ago , I still haven't gotten back on the bike.  Hope you are back in the wind soon .
