rmarion, I hate to see you get rid of that seat. It really snazzed up the ride. perfect lines. Lower that beotch another inch and as far as I am concerned I would fight you for it.

skycuse2, where did you get the grab bar eliminator? Also will the Street Glide tag mount fit under the turn signal mounts without obstucting the original fender logo on the rear?

Wow,  This is one fine looking bike.  Congratulations.

Been said before, you are really lucky to have Jim in your back yard.

Looks really nice!  Gonna do the same to mine once a V-4 powered V-Rod based Touring bike comes out from the Motor Co.  Luckily (for the wallet) that may not be for a long, long time.  ;)

I picked the seat today, went home and completed the tour pack swap about 5 minutes also.

The ride is totally diferant. I sitting lowered and back an additional two inches. Can't reach my cruise pegs. I'm probally return seat and see if they can move me up around two inches.

Overall, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! :bananarock: :bananarock: :bananarock: :bananarock:

What's next......... :confused5:

 :bananarock: :bananarock: :bananarock:

I have the same problem. Can't use the cruise pegs after the transformation. The Street Glide looks awesome. I like it.

HB

I re-worked my seat......the riding postion was too far back.......now the cruise pegs work, with differant postioning.......

1. Stock seat - regular cruise peg position
2. D.G. Seat - feet rest on floorboard while toes rest on pegs

Really nice 'conversion'.  The D. Grey seat looks great, have you determined how it 'rides' yet?  :nixweiss:    spyder

Great job on the SESG conversion!  :2vrolijk_21:  :2vrolijk_21:

Hope the MOCO takes notice of how much cleaner it looks and maybe we'll have a SESG in 2009 ?  :nixweiss:
