Hey, I'm the New Fish!!

  It looks like I'm in an ocean of well seasoned sharks, I hope I can learn a few things!
    Got an 07 SERK in Daytona in March after riding a Deluxe for two years, after 4,800 mi. on the RK, I'm hooked.
I live in NH  where the roads are great,helmets optional,and the season is way too short,but we can work around that.
I was on another site that sent me here (thank God) now perhaps I can get some info that makes sense.Can you believe I thought I had a great idea with the hard bags,you guys are way ahead of me! I called MoCo and they said in no uncertain terms
 that I could never get a paint match, no burnt gold leaf, and basically said GOOD LUCK! So I decided I was gonna get em and ended up here, Nice! SO, hot engine, 5th gear noise, short windshield, syn3, straight oil,pipes, bla bla bla, s**t I even had paint peeling off of my frame I wasn't thrilled about the dealer taking my bike totally apart and putting it on a new frame  but it worked out . I love the thing . Did 800 mi. up to Maine in July and got pretty wet, the leather bags looked so bad after the rain that I tried every avenue to get some satisfaction but NO NO NO!!!! Use the leather treatment
and put them in the sun, they said thats normal ....... there's only one place those wrinkles are normal.
  And I still love the thing! What a difference from the softail . Well anyway you all know what I'm talkin' about and glad to be here.      Shinny side up, Slugger
