hip replacement

Hi , fuzznuts here..... Just got back from hip replacement surgery. I'm normally a lurker but circumstances will force me to post a few of my own pics and comments. Just want say hello to everyone and say my lurker status is officially over. :drink: :drink: :drink:

Welcome aboard FN. It appears you're in good company here in more ways than one. Firedood had his replaced this past year also. Maybe he could shed some light on your situation.

Welcome from lurking. :2vrolijk_21:

I just had total hip replacement done January of this year. Night and day difference to the pain I was suffering w/before surgery. Two weeks after surgery I was walking w/a cane, six weeks after surgery completed out patient PT, and eight weeks after surgery I did a commercial for joint replacement for the hospital that I had surgery done at (had me running on an elliptical machine). Was back to riding my bike by April. Good luck in your recovery and if you have any questions or any way I can help send me a PM.

Now THAT is an endorsement.  If I ever need it (and I hope I don't) I certainly won't wait.  Welcome to the site decision to finally post Fuzzy and good luck with the mending!

Glad to see your status is changing, I'm headed for that hip deal one day, I think about it everytime I get a bit over zealous hiking, packing a heavy object etc.

Still getting by on one ibuprofen infrequently, but someday......

Speedy recovery to you :2vrolijk_21:
