2006 FLHTCUSE,I switched from D402 to D404,130/90/16 in front,140/90/16 in back.Exact same tire just doesn't have HD on them,saved hundred dollar!Don't bother asking your HD dealer for them,they won't have them.

These are not the exact same tire. They do have the same tread pattern but the load ratings are quite a bit different. The 402 series rear is  rated at 908 lbs whereas the 404 series is rated at 761 lbs. The 404 front is rated at 677 lbs and the 402 series is rated at 783 lbs.

The 404 series tires are considered a "cruiser" tire whereas the 402's are a touring tire.

There is more to them than just the HD name on the tire......
