Anyone seen the colours in person.  A few reports about the watermelon.

How about the others?  The Charcoal?  The Autumn Haze?

The "watermelon" looks alot better in person than it does in the pics, even the pic from the motorcycle usa website.  I like it enough that I bought it, waiting for the 6sp and bluetooth to be installed before I pick it up.  Haven't seen the other colors in person.

Congratulations Freight Train.  Also glad to hear that watermelon is better in the bite than in the photo.  So how'd you hear about the site here?  Welcome aboard.

Thanks, glad to be here, looks a bit more active than the SE Glide forum on Delphi.  I'll be sure to get pics soon as I get the bike.....and get done riding it.....should probably schedule the 1K service for the day after I pick it up. [smiley=laugh.gif] It comes with the prep fee where I'm buyin so I'll let them do "that" service only.

Thanks, found y'all off a thread at the SE Glide forum on Delphi, which is a fairly dead forum now.  Been itchin to get one of these SE's since they came out in '04, had reserve on one then but changed my mind at the last minute and bought the '04 Ultra I have now, kicked myself in the arse when I saw that Blue/Black on the floor at the dealership.

OK, Plenty of Watermelon reports.

The Autumn Haze is on HD website...anyone seen it in person?

How about the shale?

There isn't much talk about either of these.

I saw the same bike. I have to say.... I really liked it (so did my wife). She wants that one. I want my red bike. Let the battle begin.

One thing I did have to do after seeing that bike was to get a new seat for my wife. We stopped by Thunder Creek Harley, picked up a comfort stitch and had them ship the stock back to me. Much more comfortable but too big in my opinion. I also figured out that the bigger seat requires the large tour pak so that will be ordered soon.

Is the Black Candy Crimson and Slate bike a true black color?  The Autumn Haze and Vivid Black is a true black.  My wife seems to think the Slate bike is a different shade of black.  I ordered the Autumn Haze bike, and now she's waffling on which color she wants.

The Black Candy Crimson is a black with a lot of red metal flake in it.  And I can say that it is very impressive looking in the sun.
