Thought you might all want to know about fellow friend and forum member, Ultrafxr. On Sunday, Jerry was involved in a mishap, while teaching a Rider's Edge course at the dealership. Three fractures on left lower leg, scrapes, bruises and his pride. Surgery scheduled to repair his leg, rod and screws to be inserted. Saw him and J Carolyn yesterday at the hospital, he is in good spirits, she's upset. He was not on his SE Ultra, but on one of the Buell's used during the class.

Ouch...  Very bad news...  Where is Jerry?  Do you have any hospital information - address/room number?

Just spoke to J. Carolyn and Jerry is in surgery now. He broke his leg and is requiring a rod and screws. His face is scratched up from hitting the pavement and his riding glasses cut his temple requiring stitches. 
He was on a Buell, not on his Jester, while teaching the safety course. Seems there may have been a problem with the Buell and Jerry was riding it to see.
J. Carolyn said that if all goes well with the surgery, tomorrow is physical therapy and he could be home by Wednesday.
Please keep Jerry & his family in your prayers.

I understand Jerry made it through the surgery just fine and is in recovery now. They put a rod in because of the spiral fracture but I understand they will have him up and walking no later than Thursday. A little road rash on his face and he told J Carolyn "full face from now on".
I'm going to wait until tomorrow to pay him a visit and I'll post an update then.
It is his anniversary this Friday and I think he planned this to get J Carolyn to serve him breakfast in bed for a while.

Just visited Jerry and he was in good spirits. Prayed with him for a speedy recovery with no complications. He hopes to be out by Wed. He said he will respond to the site when he gets home. God love him....he looks like Rudolph with that red nose! :huepfenlol2: He is at the Med in Memphis in room D510.
