What is the widest rear tire I can install on a FXR4 without modification ?

140/90

I've been running that for about 6 years

it's a TIGHT fit, but when installed correctly, nothing will be rubbing.

It very tigh on both sides. Less than a little finger width between the fender stut bolts and the tire, on the other side, the flap on the lower belt guard is ALMOST touching the tire

I just ordered new tires today .... I couldn't get a 140 from where I was shopping, so I'm going back to the 130/90
