Has anyone installed or have knowledge of the Whistler Fusion Radar Detector?  Looks good to me but thought I'd ask before spending $500

I have a Escort 9500ix which I love.  It learns false alarms and I get weekly updates for it on camera's and known speed traps.  It uses GPS technology for location learning.

Same price range as the whistler your looking at.

Thanks Brad,

But the Fusion will replace my Air Temp Gauge and has good sound.  I've got a Road Tech and Fairing mount but I want to keep my CVO clean looking.  Plus I ride to VA where they'll confiscate your detector if they see it

Yes I saw that too.  But I also saw the Fuzion on Whistler's site.  I've sent an email to their sales to get the correct info.  I want a stealth looking unit but don't want to shell out 2 grand.  The Fuzion is a step above the Crusader and unlike the Crusader the Fuzion has audio

Thank you for your response!

FYI - here's my dialog with Whistler:

Bryan: How may I help you today?
Bob: Has the Fuzion been discontinued
Bryan: Not discontinued.  It's not currently being manufactured, but we do still support it with parts and service.
Bob: It looks like a better unit than the one that does not have the audio for my Harley
Bryan: Well, the display module isn't waterproof, so it's not really designed for use on a motorcycle.
Bob: Does the other one have an audio output?
Bryan: We do have the Cruisader model that is similar to the Fuzion, but is desinged for motorcycles.
Bob: Yes but can I get an audio output with the crusader
Bryan: The Cruisader does have an auxillary port that can be used for an audio device, but the only speaker that we make for the remote units isn't waterproof.
Bob: Does that mean I can connect the that port to the Aux input on my radio?
Bryan: Well, not exactly.  It uses a digital signal, so it's just a normal headphone type connection.
Bryan: It wasn't really designed to be used with a sound system.
Bob: So I would need some sort of an adapter, if you don't sell one maybe I could get something form Radio Shack
Bryan: well, I don't know of any adapters, but you might send an email to one of our engineers and see if he knows of something that will work
