What would be the tallest bars without changing cables on a 11 rug?

I did not know a rug had handle bars....


I think the Wild 1 515 are about as tall as you can go, which are 10", some say the 12" work but tight.

i have 14 inch chubbys on my 2012 FLHXSE3. had 12 1/2 bars on my 2010 FLHXSE but i like the 14s much better

PM Jim (hd-dude) at Metal Dragon...he'll know, and give you a discount on the bars and new lines if you need them.  Search the members tab to find him and send the PM.  I think most have been happier with the Outlawz for hand position, but I'm not sure about the height.

Look at the Wild 1's website, they have a link where you can look at riders bikes with Wild 1 bars installed, gets a better idea of how they would look on your bike.

looked at the Wild 1's website, at the 12.5 CHUBBYS, very impressive. if i go with these bars what other components will i need for my 2012 FLHXSE?

I would go with "Beach Bars" since you have a Road King. Not "Up but Out", My son has them on his Road King and I think they look Bitchin. Reminds me of that old Merc that Sylvester Stalone drove in that movie that I can't remember the name of (Sucks to get old), the one where he was a cop. That "Long and Low" profile looks COOL when there isn't a Faring or tourpak to deal with. But that is just my opinion. I tried to attach a photo but couldn't do it.

"Cobra" was the name of the film. I had to look it up myself.

Turns out that the '50 Merc was one of Sly's personal vehicles, and was stolen from his garage in 1994. Back in 2009, it was going to be auctioned off by a company that provides vehicles for movies, and after a lawsuit, Sly was able to finally able to get it back earlier this year.
