GREAT LOOKING VROD and welcome to the site.  I'm not a vrod guy but have a great friend that has a 100th anniversary model that would have nothing else.  I've sat on them and while they do feel good, my arms/legs just aren't long enough to be comfortable.  I asked my dad one time could I pray to the Lord for longer legs?  My pop stood there and said "why would you want them longer?  They already reach from your butt to the ground!"  end of story.....

I digress....anyway, great to have you here.  Lots of great information, good clean chats and the folks are fun to interact with.  I haven't been here long either but have already made a couple of great contacts.

I, too, have wondered why the mother ship sells all types of merchandise promoting all their various division and yet nothing CVO specific.  I did find a Screamin Eagle patch for my vest that "sorta" fit with the CVO range.  It would be nice to have a t-shirt (factory or not) with something in reference to the bike line that ALWAYS sells out each year for HD....just sayin  ::)

Keep it between the ditches and again, welcome  :bananarock:

Welcome from Sunny/Hot Southern California!
That is one of the most rare bikes you have, 1/446 in that color.
But even more rare is your friends 2006 CVO Street Glide, must be a 1/1 bike, they didn't make one that we know of.

Thanks, I have been trying to to find out how many blue ones were made. Where did you find that info? Before I bought it I checked Cycle Trader for values and only saw the red ones.
As for my friends, I meant it is a green 2006 Harley-Davidson FLHTCUSE Screamin' Eagle Ultra Classic Electra Glide, so don't let me know I called it a Street Glide by mistake. Funny thing about his is that I have seen 3-4 just like it on my travels so I gig him for having a popular one.

Well I called HD, and with a pleasant outcome a nice lady gave me all the info I wanted on production numbers.
Here is what I learned on the three colors for the 05 CVO VRod's:
Blue 446 total (like you said) 410 Regular and 36 for Cali)
Red 790 total (723 Regular and 67 for Cali)
Orange 1097 total (1021 Regular and 76 for Cali)

Thats 2333 total

Your friends Emerald CUSE is the rare color for that model at 1/574, to compare the Crimson in 2006 was 1/1901.

Welcome from Beavercreek, OH!  Ready to ride anytime!  Be safe and ride like you're invisible!

V/R,
Brent

Well spent today buying an 05 Blue CVO Vrod. My first CVO, and the first time I road a VRod was this bike when the guy showed up with it at my bank to do the deal. I got on it for a test ride and OMG. WOW. It is unbelievable how many comments, thumbs up, head nods, etc I have recieved in the rougly 50 miles I put on it today getting tags, state inspection, etc. This thing is crazy fast. I'm really gonna like having this. Hope my 04 RoadGlide doesn't get too jealous. This bike is WAY different than my RoadGlide in every aspect, I know DUH, but I mean, if you have never test road a VRod you need to, at least to just understand. My buddy alway busts my balls because he has an 06 CVO Street Glide, as in pulls up next to me and cranks his stereo to drown mine out (I had to upgrade mine so I could hear music when I ride with him), but now I completely get the CVO "thing". I can't go back now. When I replace my RG it'll have to be with a CVO RG at least.
