The high flow exhaust system moves the cats to the mufflers and changes the inlet size to 2.25" on both left and right so you can't take the now cat free head pipe and easily install cat free slip ons.

On the 2017 m8. the right side inlet is 2.5" and the left side is 1.75" if I remember right. I just installed slipons on my bike, thats how I know.

Once you change to the HD performance header, the outputs of the head pipe are  now the same size on each side as the cats move into the mufflers. I believe that's what the previous member was saying.

I was thinking that for a sec but I don't see any header upgrades for the cvo m8 touring bikes, that's why I was asking.

Link to just that was in my post but here it is again. And yes, that is what I was saying, the stock pipes are just what you say, it is when you change to this performance exhaust that the header pipe outlet/muffler inlet size changes to 2.25". You can't buy just the header, you have to get the whole system.

Gave the front wheel a new shoe, new bearings, and its 20,000 mile clean up. Should be ready for another 20,000.  :bananarock:

Had a new front tire installed on my 2018 CVO Street Glide. Managed to get 18k out of it. Also installed the oil cooler fan and had the dealer flash it.

Finally got around to riding a fair amount this weekend. Rode a poker run yesterday with Dwayne and Pam and the two Steves, then rode down to the Swinging Bridge with Dwayne and Pam, Steve (WW) and Sylvia, Miss Susan and the one and only Carl Lee Hubbard.

Both days glorious days for riding but a tad on the warm side for up here in the mountains. Getting ready for WV GTG....

Gave the bike a good detailing, on Saturday.  Hooked it up on a tender for the first time in about a year in a half.
Nice to have the bike in my garage vs a storage unit.
