Hey guys,
I am new here and recently bought my first Harley, an 07 FLHTCUSE2, Black and Orange. I waited a long time for a bike and after spending last summer and fall trying to find the right bike I fell in love with my Black Beauty (Did not have the ching for a new one and the mileage was low on her!) I bought her at Buddy Stubbs H-D in Phoenix and have put about 1000 miles on her out here in Cave Creek/Scottsdale AZ. The bike came with CFR Race Exhaust (True Dual), which my 50 year old ears cant stand, so the exhaust are being replaced this weekend with Supertrapp FatShots, so I can hear the stereo. Right now this is one louding &^%*ing bike!! I assume some engine work was done as well, since a SERT came with the bike, but the dealer has been little help here, so it will be off to a tuner when the exhaust goes on. Any insight on that would be appreciated, or who is a good tuner in the PHX area.
I have spent the evening viewing all the CUSE threads and want to thank all of you for some great advice I picked up. I ordered the LED guage bulbs so I can see fuel and oil at night that many of you did and I am looking into adding more light in back. Great insights guys, Thanks! I am also on the fence regarding a king tour pack as well as LED Headlamps and Spots. Food for thought.
Sorry for the long first but wanted to share my enthusiam and appreciation to you guys.
Cheers :drink:

Welcome from the hills of TN. I hear your pain with the loud exhaust. I do not understand making a touring bike with a sound system loud, seems counterproductive to me

10 years ago it would have been great. Now I would rather hear the engine, stereo and the lovely lady riding behind me. I'll let you know how the exhaust swap goes this weekend.
