Topic: Noob in CT (Read 2602 times)

Hey guys,
As the title reads, I'm the noob from CT. My name is Jason, and I just picked up my first Harley today. I'm 38, and rode street bikes from the time I was 18 until about 30. I figured I was done with the whole bike thing (but I never tossed my riding gear or helmets), but this changed a couple weeks ago when I sat on my friends Breakout. The next day I was a the dealer checking out bikes, but always felt great on the Breakout. Fast forward to today> I just picked up my 2016.5 CVO Breakout Pro Street with the 117 kit installed (that escalated quickly).
I hope to contribute when I can here, and gain as much knowledge as possible, as this is very new (but exciting) to me.

I hope you'll check out the threads regarding our CVO Harley Get-Togethers (GTG's). We always have a great time at these events, and it's an excellent way to put faces with names and make new friends!
We have annual GTG's in California, the Smokies (Sept '16), and in the middle of the country at Eureka Springs, Arkansas (June '17). Please search the site to find out more information or PM me and I'll be happy to tell you about the Eureka Springs event. Or, visit the "Events" section on the forum.

Jason, Congratulations on your new CVO and Welcome to the site from The Lowcountry of South Carolina!
Meeting the members and being able to put faces on the posters on this site is a real thing here with CVO Harley. We have GTG's, Get Togethers, a few times a year. This is a chance to rekindle old friendships and make new ones. We socialize, ride our bikes, eat really well, and even have a drink or two. These GTG's are found in The Events section of the forum. West Virginia is the next GTG and that is from the 18th - 24th of this month. Maggie Valley GTG is coming up in September ( 12th - 18th ). Next year in June is The National Meet In The Middle GTG in Eureka Springs, AK.
