Transmission main shaft bearing and compensator
« on: February 23, 2019, 09:11:26 PM »

So my 2016 CVO Street Glide with 11000 miles was vibrating a little more then I was use to and knocking at hot idle. Survey says?? Bad compensator and transmission mainshaft bearing that was failing and scored up the mainshaft. Thankfully my warranty was extended for 1 year bye HD for all the issues this bikes had. I’m thinking extending the warranty again on my dime would be a good call. How common is the transmission bearing issue? I know the comps suck and that’s an on going problem.
