I find when i wear my Shuberth C3 while rinding my roadglide with the standard screen the wind noise is pretty bad
Not so bad with my arai , ive noticed at any speed the noise is much less when the visor is open , i wonder what kind of helmets others use and how they find them regarding buffeting and noise

Schuberths are excellent helmets I still have the C2 will sell, have sold the C3 for the exact same reason you describe, the wind noise almost like a booming or reverberation behind the fairing/windshield and this is on my ULTRA. It is great on a non fairing or non windshield bike.
With my 1/2 or 3/4 helmet no buffeting or noise. I have gotten so use the to 1/2 and 3/4 helmets in the rain just use a Shampa or similar material face guard and ride in the elements.

all the good reviews I read about this helmet and I bought one to wear for my 2011 FLTRUSE and now I read this. Cant ride here in Wis yet too cold and too much salt on the road-------Will comment further on the c-3 when the good weather comes here. Have not used it yet on my Roadglide yet.

I bought the C-3 last year and love it. On my Road Glide there is no buffeting or noise.

I am sold on the Shoei Quest. Very lite and comfy.

Have my second C3, before I had Nolan, Shoei and other brands. Comfort & quality of the C3 are great for me - security seems to be very high according to tests (never had to test it myself fortunately :o)

My Arai is very comfy......why look at anything else?

HJC FS15 Carbon, Cee Bailey windscreen, and RG frame deflectors. Very little buffeting.
