Has anyone changed the color LED's out? If so any problems or issues? I yesterday just ordered up a flush mount fuel gauge and gas cap kit for my ride, and desire to change the lights from blue to yellow/gold to match my ride. Any insight would be great, either way when the kit comes in next week, I will tackle it and post pictures and any issues I find in doing so.

I received my new flush mount kit. I dismantled it today and un-soldered the seven surface mount LED's and now have the issue of sourcing the new replacement ones. During my research I have found the Blue LEDs and White ones have the same voltage reading of 3.2 to 3.6 volts. All of the other colors operate on 2.2 volts.
I was hoping to go with yellow or gold to match the paint scheme of the screaming deuce.
I will post more information as I continue with the project.

Harley offers the flush mount gauge in red. It was stock on the SERK3. Part number 63074-07B.

I found amber lights that are the same, voltage also matches. I ordered them up today, will post more when I take the next step

Received new LEDs yesterday, but the Cathode terminal is on the wrong side, now awaiting vender to find correct LEDs to continue, bummer.

OK, I installed the amber LED's today, was quite difficult, will test then install on the Deuce this weekend.
Wish me luck

ok, tested on the bike, gauge will not light up at all, not even the pump light with was not touched, either the new gauge is defective, or I destroyed it changing the color LED's.
