Switch Caps...What a PAIN!

For $12.95 I picked up a set of these for the Deuce:



Well, I will tell you, SIX hours later 7 fuses to find the short in the brake sensor,  a lost throttle screw spring & a screw and one marriage later they are now installed.

This one is not worth it!  Maybe I will change my mind once I install the throttle and Idle covers...

yep thats the worst 12 bucks i ever spent 4 fuses no brake light  no speedo no signals had me stumped for a month  changed the fuse one day and didnt have a problem since good thing though because the day i fixed it i sold it a day later kinda hard to sell a bike whith no brake light ,signals ,speedo but i put about 500 miles on it with that problem it had 4100 miles on it when fuse kept blowing when i got it working right it still had 4100 miles on it so if ya wanna keep miles off hook up atoggle switch to that fuse and the speedo dont rack up the miles

 I picked up a couple of set's and did my wife's Lowrider first. Needless to say the other set for My  SEEG will wait till  I have a weekend I have nothing better to do. [smiley=drink.gif] "What A Pain"

With the new chrome throttle cable adjuster covers...of course the c-clips took off some chrome...

Bill, the cable adjuster covers look sweet!  Were they as easy to install as they look like they should be? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

The covers were easy, put the two halfs together then slide a c-clip over each end...the problem is, the c-clip can (and did) take off some chrome.

Also, I did not cut away the existing rubber boots as per the instructions, I just slid them down and under the tank.  I have a set for the SEEG and I will slide the rubber boot into the fairing if possible.  That way, they can still be used if needed.

On the Deuce, I already had the Clutch adjuster cover so these are a nice match!
