Are you installing the Carlini Menace Apes? I recently put those, 14 inch, on my 2010 cvo ultra classic. I have wired quite a few handlebars but the those were very tough. They have two 90 degree angles on each side and you can't pull the wires through with terminal ends on. I had to clip them and install new ones after the wires are pulled through. Any other bars are a piece of cake compared to these. I would go with HD heated grips. I tried Heat Demon with my Carlini bars. The Heat Demons have extremely fragile wires and solder joints. I can't say for sure, but I'd guess their wires are 24 to 26 ga. that connect to the heated elements. Cheap. The right side element wraps around the twist grip connector and it won't fit in a Carlini bar. I had to do a lot of grinding to get it to fit in. You won't have some of the difficult problems I experienced if you use Harley heated grips.

I am going with hd heated grips , the same ones on a cvo ultra , but they connect to a plug in the faring , my question is .. Is that plug that is used on the ultra , in my street glide wiring ...

Yes I will be installing them bars on my cvo ..I will have to extend all the wires and put then through the bars first then connecting them to the ends ..

Do u have a pic of your bike and how to u like your bars?

According to the wiring diagrams the heated grip connector is still there on a 2010 FLHXSE.  See attachment; click on it to enlarge.

These are my favorite handlebars I've ever had. Very comnfortable. I also have Yaffe 14 inch MBB on my cvo street glide. The Yaffe bars are 34.5 inches wide. The Carlini are 39 inches wide. The Carlini bars feel much better to me. The Yaffe bars work ok with 35 degree banjos but the Carlinis don't look good with them so I changed them to 180 degree banjos. Much better.
