That is a nice locking system for your helmet.
like many people I sometimes hang the helmet on the bike and walk away, or Carry it with me.
And that back up helmet just in case someone needs a ride. Yes that locking system seems to be the
answer.  Thanks for the info

Have had an entire tour pak stolen off the SEEG.  But never had anyone walk away with a helmet.  The Nolan and the accessory electronics makes locking at least a consideration though.  I hate the idea of another key to carry around though.

I never worried about locking my HJC moduler until I put the $200.00 com set in it. Then it seemed more important. Now I have a Nolan N-102 Blue Tooth and I always put it in the TP or I use a cable lock for an semi-auto pistol. (someone mentioned it earlier). It at least makes it inconvient to steal.

I have 1 that fits the crash bar just above my cruise pegs and 1 on the saddle bag guard.  Use them most of the time.

Bike was sitting in the parking lot of the local shopping mall.  I wasn't inside more than half an hour.  Came out and had one of those weird "what's missing" moments wondering for just a second if I'd had the tour pak on or not.  It is detachable; and someone did.

For sure, the so-called 'headset' pops off and goes into the neat little sack Cardo provided. But the mic is still on the helmet. Helmet is still on the bike. Helmet still has no real good way to lock it.

Hey, how about one of those rubber, fake 'vomit' pads placed under the visor?  :)
I am going to try that, GREAT idea!

The small locks that attach through the D rings on your helmet only result is having your chin strap cut and helmet still gets stolen.

I carry a bicycle type cable lock from Home Depot. It has an inline combo lock. Long enough for 2 helmets or a helmet and jacket. They come in different lengths. When not needed, it coils up and get stowed in a saddle bag. I run it through the face mask as mentioned above.

We made a cable up from plastic coated 3/16" wire bought from Home Depot.  They have the crimping tool right there to use to make your end loops with.  You can make any length you want and it coils up smaller than anything else out there.

That happened to my brother in Law. Found it in the middle of the road a ways down the road. They Pried it open, took camera &  other stuff & pitched it out of an open window when driving. No detachables for this dude. THE MUFFMAN

I leave enough room in my SE Ultra tour box and keep either my 1/2 or 3/4 helmet inside the top trunk.  I lay them upside down and store gloves inside the helmet.

Here's a short write up of the cable lock that I use.
Real convenient as the cable just winds up in the puck... very compact.

Move to a non helmet required state then it won't get stolen.
