WHERE IS SPRING?

Can't believe the Mercury dropped below freezing again last night. Axil and a couple of friends came up for the evening festivities. We took a trip over "THE HILL" to our favorite watering hole. Made it back home and sat down to a nice rib dinner ( you missed it again DOOD). Woke up this morning to ice again. I wish it would warm up!

That's alright. This morning I was out on the deck cooking up some NY Strips for breakfast. It was chilly but listening to the Turkey raising a little hell and watching the deer come into the feeder while I was cooking was pretty neat. Yep we are having Belgium Waffles, NY Strips and fresh country Eggs! What a way to go. And DOOD missed another one!

OBTW HAPPY EASTER to everyone. I know I am having a great one!

Sorry to report back that we have the best Easter weather in more than a decade. Every day pure sun with temps in the high 70s. Perfect. Was riding every day so far, and have another tour planned for tomorrow. Aaaahhh ...

It will not be as long as it has been before the weather is going to change for good. Also it will not be to much longer before I do get some of the ribs and refreshments. :2vrolijk_21:

I quit holding my breath on that one!!!! Looking forward to getting together again!!!! My Brother from another Mother!!!!

BTW we are doing the BBQ for Rolling Thunder again this year. I am thinking a bigger and better location and event. Will keep you posted.

we have also spring weather in Zurich, first completly dry easter for many years.......unfortunatley due to having been overburdoned with various heavy n strenuous task at work over the last few weeks, right shoulder and backache resticted me to a 1hour ride over this 4day break.......   gggrrrrrrrrr

I went in search of the spring weather. I started in Pittsburgh and finally found it somewhere around Ft Lauderdale, and even there it was a bit nippy in the evening.  Now I know what I've been looking forward to all winter, and I was hoping that it would be here by the time I got back.  Maybe next week or the week after or next month.  I would really like to retire my heated jacket for a while.
